Thierry Henry calls out Michael Olise mid-interview after hearing what Bayern Munich winger called him on CBS broadcast

Olise spoke about Henry during his post-match interview with CBS Sports.

Thierry Henry 'caught Michael Olise slipping' in his post-match interview with CBS Sports as the winger opened up on his transfer from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich – and the clip has gone viral.

Olise featured for Bayern on Wednesday night as the Bundesliga side booked their place in the Champions League round of 16 with a dramatic last-gasp win over Celtic.

The 23-year-old winger, who joined the Bavarians in July last year for around £50 million, watched on as Alphonso Davies scored a dramatic 93rd minute winner to seal a 3-2 aggregate win.

After the full-time whistle, Davies joined Olise for a typically entertaining post-match chat with CBS Sports pundits Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Thierry Henry.

Here, the Bayern pair spoke about the game but Olise's answer to Richards' question about joining the German club from Crystal Palace brought the most reaction from everyone, including an amused Henry.

As you can see from the footage below, Richards began by asking: "How has it been coming from Palace? And you came up against [Jeffrey] Schlupp today, you're ex-teammate... how was that?"

Olise then replied: "It's a big jump. It definitely took some time to adapt to."

He added: "I spoke with Titi when I was transitioning and he helped me, gave me some pointers and stuff. I played with Jeff for three years, He knows a lot about me, he knows what I like to do. It was a good match-up. I enjoyed it, to be honest."

Moments later, Henry pulled up Olise for calling him Titi rather than coach. "So it's Titi now, not coach?"

As the punditry team burst into laughter, the winger – who played under Henry at the 2024 Paris Olympics – quicky backtracked and started calling the former France under-21 manager his coach.

Richards then proceeded to ask what Henry was like as a coach.

"He was honestly top to work with him," Olise said with a grin. "It was an enjoyable competition. It was good. I have a lot of respect for Henry, sorry coach. He knows how much I appreciate hi

Back in August, Henry resigned from his position as France under-21s manager after leading his country to a silver medal at the 2024 Olympics.

A week after his side lost the Olympic final to Spain in extra time, he said: "Winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games for my country will remain one of the greatest prides of my life."

The former Arsenal forward added: "I am incredibly grateful to the federation, the players, the staff and the supporters who allowed me to live a magical experience."
