Juventus have not made a move for Liverpool star Roberto Firmino, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Brazilian has been consistently linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, but any such transfer currently looks unlikely to materialise.
In his report for CaughtOffside, Romano claimed ‘Jurgen Klopp considers him [Firmino] part of the project, especially because a lot of resources are needed in the World Cup year.’

The journalist did admit that the forward unfortunately won’t ‘be a regular starter for Liverpool this season.’
Firmino made 20 Premier League appearances for the Reds last season, but half of those came from the bench.
His role in the squad began to grow more subdued and the system at Liverpool has changed ever so slightly, with Jürgen Klopp looking for a different profile of player to occupy to his centre-forward position.

Instead, the likes of Sadio Mané and Diogo Jota featured more regularly in the no. 9 role for the Merseyside club.
And Firmino's playing time only decreased further upon the mid-season signing of former Porto man Luis Diaz.
There is no clear pathway back into the first XI for the forward this coming Premier League season.
And that likely also dashes his hopes of starting for his country at the World Cup following Gabriel Jesus’ move to Arsenal.

Romano believes if the Brazilian "found a club where he could be a key player he would really get his magic back."
“Leaving Liverpool will be difficult, though. They have sold players already this summer, with Sadio Mane, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi leaving. I doubt there is much desire to sell more.”
Roberto Firmino has scored just under 100 goals for the Reds, and has helped them win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Anfield.
Whatever happens, he will go down as a club legend.
