Liverpool have previously found success in transfers from Porto, with Luis Diaz hitting the ground running in his debut season at Anfield.

The winger’s agent, Israel Oliveira has traveled to England to enter talks and is committed to getting a deal over the line for his player.
Otavio is an experienced footballer, who has played a vital role in Porto’s success since joining the club in 2014.
He is a well rounded player who can perform as a winger or an attacking midfielder, bringing a level of stability to any side he plays on.
Initially, Otavio represented Brazil at youth level, but in March 2021 he became a Portuguese citizen and ever since has represented his adopted nation, scoring 2 goals for his country.

Liverpool are interested in Otavio as an attacking option after their superstar winger, Sadio Mane has left the club to join the German giants, Bayern Munich.
During his time with Liverpool, Mane has provided a vital service to the club, playing a pivotal role in its' success since he joined in 2016.
But all good things must come to an end, and after winning some of the most coveted trophies at Anfield, including the Premier League and Champions League, he has decided to move away from the club.
This leaves Liverpool with a gap in their attacking roster, which they hope Otavio could help to fill.

However, the deal for Otavio is nowhere near done. Leeds will not give up easily and are expected to offer a bigger fee to counter their rejected bid.
So, with the transfer window having only just opened, Otavio’s future is still very much undecided.
