Robbie Fowler has told Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to sign Newcastle midfielder Joelinton.
The Reds are unlikely to qualify for Champions League football this term after a topsy-turvy season plagued by inconsistent form and injury.
In turn, Jurgen Klopp has been tipped to guide the club through a squad rebuild this summer, with the midfield in particular need of rejuvenation.

The club have been linked to the likes of Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo, Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount in the last month alone.
However, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has suggested Liverpool should turn their attention to another midfielder altogether - Newcastle’s Joelinton.
Should Liverpool sign Joelinton?
Fowler outlined how impressed he had been by Joelinton and suggested that he would love to see the £80,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazilian at Anfield in future.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, the former forward said: “I’d end too, by saying that I’m a big, big fan of Joelinton, who combines both aspects of the game I’ve been talking about.
“And [he] looks just about the identikit of the perfect player for Liverpool.”
Having initially been a figure of fun on Tyneside, Joelinton has slowly become one of the most feared midfielders in the division and has been central to Newcastle's surge towards European football.

Former Newcastle United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen even labelled Joelinton as one of the best players in the Premier League.
Owen told BT Sport: "[Newcastle manager Eddie Howe] has improved all the players that were at the club. He's just done an unbelievable job. They were devastating against Spurs at the weekend.
"{Jacob] Murphy scored a couple, Isak scored a couple and Joelinton has turned inside out. He was a laughing stock a couple of seasons ago and now he's one of the best players in the Premier League.
"He's just done an incredible job. These players are all out performing at the moment and they deserve to be third in the league."
