Real Madrid already took a key Liverpool target in Aurelien Tchouameni from Jürgen Klopp’s grasp this summer, and they’re ready to do the same with another midfield man next year.
That’s according to El Periodico who claim Ancelotti's side are ready to challenge the Reds in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham has been identified as the ideal engine room recruit for Liverpool as Jürgen Klopp, who is said to be obsessed with the 19-year-old, looks to refresh his engine room.

The extent to which the club admire Bellingham is reflected in their approach to signing him.
Ideally, Liverpool would have brought in a midfielder this summer, hence their attempts to sign Tchouameni, but they’re ready to wait for Brit.
Instead of identifying a different midfield target, Liverpool have decided they’ll make a move for Bellingham when a transfer grows in plausibility next summer.

Dortmund have refused to sell their star man this window. Having already offloaded Erling Haaland to Manchester City, they are reluctant to let another key player leave so soon.
And Liverpool appear to have accepted that which is a testament to Jude Bellingham’s qualities.
But if Real Madrid do bring him in, the Reds could regret not moving for a different target this summer.
The Spanish capital club could form one of Europe’s most exciting and promising midfield trios if they do manage to capture the 19-year-old’s signature.

Already on their books are the aforementioned Aurelien Tchouameni and of course Eduardo Camavinga.
Madrid fans have long worried about how they would replace the ageing Toni Kroos and Luca Modric midfield pairing.
But if they can get this deal done, those concerns would be emphatically quashed.
Liverpool will be hoping they won’t be drawn into a bidding war with Real. Bellingham would already cost the Reds in the region of £85 million as it is.

But if the Spanish side are serious about signing the Englishman, that number could inflate drastically.
Borussia Dortmund are set for a big pay day when they choose to offload their star man.
