With the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal in mind, Bellingham was rested for Real's latest fixture as they ran out 1-0 winners of Alaves.
Eduardo Camavinga scored the only goal of the game, just four minutes before Kylian Mbappe received a straight red for a horrendous challenge on Antonio Blanco.

Bellingham and Vinicius Jr did not feature ahead of the big game on Wednesday, though the former is reported to have had an eventful training session a day prior to Sunday's game.
According to El Chiringuito, Bellingham was involved in a heated incident with teammate Antonio Rudiger and other players had to get involved to separate the pair.
During a small-sided game in the session at the club's training base, it's claimed Rudiger produced a tackle on Bellingham that the England international was not happy with and promptly let him know about it by insulting him.

Real teammates got involved and the issue was then resolved without completing blowing out of control.
Bellingham and Rudiger both started the 3-0 first leg defeat to Arsenal and both are expected to be in the side for the crunch clash.

The 15-time European champions fell to a defeat after two incredible free-kicks from Declan Rice and a fine strike from Mikel Merino.
