Everton are one of four Premier League clubs monitoring the situation of ex-Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, according to 90min.
Since departing Anfield for PSG last summer, Wijnaldum has struggled to find form in the French capital and it’s now understood that he is likely to leave Ligue 1 in this transfer window.
A host of European clubs from Italy, Germany and Spain are said to be interested in the Dutchman, and in the Premier League alone there are four clubs monitoring his situation.

Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton are reportedly one of the parties interested in making a move for the former Red.
The midfielder has two years remaining on his current deal at Parc Des Princes, so it appears a loan switch to Goodison Park may be more likely.

PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino left him out of their squad entirely for their knockout stage games of the Champions League as he netted just three goals and three assists in 38 appearances last term across all competitions.
As well as Everton, Leicester, West Ham and Wolves are supposedly interested in the combative midfielder.
While Klopp is looking to bolster his midfield options in this window as he looks to lower the age profile of his ageing squad, reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano has recently ruled out a return for Wijnaldum to the Kop.
Instead, the likes of Gavi and Nicolo Barella have been identified as potential new recruits in this department.
