Nottingham Forest have made a bid for defender Neco Williams, who is valued at £15 million by Liverpool.
The full-back spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage and impressed as Fulham went on to claim automatic promotion back to the Premier League and win the Championship title.
This form has sparked interest from several Premier League clubs who are looking to bolster their defence this summer.

Williams will return to Merseyside for pre-season, but he is increasingly expected to leave the club in this window. Fulham are said to be keen on retaining the defender on a permanent basis as they look set to launch a double swoop on Williams and attacker Takumi Minamino.
However, according to 90min, Forest have now entered the race and they believe they have a good chance of acquiring the Welshman this summer. The newly-promoted Premier League club are looking for a new right-back as Djed Spence, a star during their promotion campaign, is supposedly on the verge of a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool are demanding a fee in the region of £15 million for the 21-year-old and will accept any bids that meet this valuation.
The Reds are searching for another right-back this summer, as Jurgen Klopp has placed providing adept cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold as one of the club’s priorities in this window. They’ve already made contact with Aberdeen over the potential signing of Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen, and this move looks increasingly likely.
Any deal for Ramsay would enable Williams to leave. The Welsh international, who will be eager to receive plenty of game time in the first half of next season with a World Cup place up for grabs, has made just 13 Premier League appearances for Liverpool since his debut in 2020.
