Liverpool’s long-term pursuit of teenage sensation Jude Bellingham is set to intensify next summer, according to reliable journalist James Pearce.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed three excellent seasons in senior football already with his hometown club Birmingham City and in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund.
He’s played 89 times for BVB, scoring ten goals and providing 18 assists in all competitions.

Bellingham already has an astonishing 133 senior appearances to his name before his 20th birthday.
The Reds have been admirers from afar, but are now looking to push forward with their interest in the youngster.
Writing in The Athletic, the journalist stated:
“The England midfielder is a class act and it’s hard to believe he’s only just turned 19. However, he won’t be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer."

“There will be serious competition for Bellingham’s signature in 2023. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the race, with reports in Germany this week suggesting it would take €120 million (£103 million) to sign him."
"Bellingham doesn’t have a release clause and has three years left on his contract."
“Liverpool will certainly be in the conversation and it helps that Bellingham has a good relationship with captain Jordan Henderson from their time together with England."

“I don’t think that fee would scare Liverpool off as you’re talking about a player who could be at the heart of their midfield for a decade. However, the wage demands could be a potential stumbling block.”
As Pearce mentioned, the competition for his signature will be almost endless, with any of Europe’s super-clubs lined up to sign him.

But it seems as if there is a connection with Liverpool, and as their midfield is ageing, a young player is just what they need.
The Reds would have to break the bank, but for Bellingham, anything is possible at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp.
