A heartwarming moment between Harvey Elliott and Mohamed Salah was captured on camera as Liverpool thrashed Rangers in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side are currently under intense scrutiny after their stuttering start to the campaign. They went into the match with Rangers on the back of a bitterly disappointing display against Arsenal on Sunday.
Rangers took advantage of Liverpool’s poor form as Scott Arfield fired the hosts in front after 17 minutes.

Liverpool were shaken up by that goal and found their equaliser through Roberto Firmino seven minutes later.
In the second half, the Reds ramped up the gears as Firmino gave Klopp’s side the lead in the 55th minute.
Summer signing Darwin Nunez finished off a neat move in the 66th minute to put the game beyond Rangers’ reach.

However, Liverpool were not done yet as Salah scored the fastest hat-trick ever in Champions League history to make it 6-1 to the visitors, Elliott then rounded off the victory with a seventh goal.
Elliott’s goal was initially ruled out after the linesman flagged for offside, during the VAR check, Salah and Elliott produced one of the most wholesome moments of the season so far.
As the crowd, players and managers waited for the VAR’s decision, Salah was captured hugging Elliott as he prayed for the goal to stand.
When the goal was eventually given, Salah jumped onto the back of the 19-year-old’s back to celebrate. You can watch the footage below.
Liverpool fans were quick to react to the moment between the stars.
