Former Liverpool centre-back Jamie Carragher has posted a tribute to Sadio Mané on Twitter amid speculation the 30-year-old will be leaving Merseyside imminently.
According to BBC Sport, a deal worth £35.1 million has been agreed between Bayern and Liverpool which will allow Mané to move to Bavaria. If all add-ons are secured, 6 years on, Liverpool will turn a profit on Mané who they signed for £33.5 million from Southampton in 2014.
Jamie Carragher has turned to Twitter to gush over Mané’s 6-year tenure at Liverpool. The Sky Sports pundit describes Mané as his ‘favourite LFC player of this era’ and a ‘true Liverpool legend.’

Mané’s hard work on the pitch has drawn plaudits towards him for many a year now. The intensity of his pressing and his never-say-die spirit embody the way Liverpool have played their football in recent years.
It is easy to understand why Carragher thinks so highly of the 30-year-old.
Bayern fans will be looking forward to seeing what sort of return he can deliver in Germany. Off the back of a campaign where he was included in a very competitive Premier League Team of the Season, fans of the Bavarian club will be hoping Mané can carry on his strong form at his new home in East Germany.

Mané will also be looking forward to the new opportunity which presents itself to him.
It is believed Bayern want Mané to be their key talisman, something which attracted Mané to the Bundesliga side. He’s lived in the shadow of Mo Salah for a few years now and will relish the chance to be a team’s star man.
Carragher has already delivered his verdict on how he believes life without Mané at Anfield will go on.
He sees new recruit Darwin Nuñez walking straight into Jürgen Klopp’s frontline with Luis Diaz and Mo Salah either side of him.
