Liverpool should consider signing former Manchester United loanee Marcel Sabitzer this summer, according to former Reds forward Stan Collymore.
Sabitzer joined United on a January deadline day loan deal from Bayern Munich last season, and had mixed success at Old Trafford.
The Austria international made 18 appearances in all competitions for Erik ten Hag's side, scoring three goals. He netted a brace in the 2-2 draw against Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-final first leg in March.

He enjoyed an extended run in the side between March and April, and there was speculation that United would look to sign the 29-year-old permanently in the summer.
But he suffered a knee injury in April that ruled him out for the rest of the season. Sabitzer's loan deal expired on June 30, and he has now returned to Bayern.
Tribal Football report that the German giants have placed the midfielder on the transfer list - and Collymore believes Liverpool should plot a swoop to seal his signing.

Liverpool told to sign Sabitzer this summer
Collymore, who scored 28 goals in 64 appearances for the Reds between 1995 and 1997, has advised his former club to get in ahead of United to sign Sabitzer, who reportedly has an asking price of between €15-€17 million.
Speaking in an interview with CaughtOffside, he explained: "There have been recent reports that the Bavarians are happy for [Sabitzer] to leave permanently for a fee of just €15 million - if that is true, I cannot believe United haven't snapped their hand off already.
"If they're not going to take Bayern Munich up on it, I wonder if [Jurgen] Klopp will think about it.

"He's proven he can play in the Premier League and that fee is almost too good to turn down, especially when it's senior international-level midfielders you're in the market for!"
The Reds have already sealed moves for two midfielders this summer, with Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai arriving from Brighton and RB Leipzig respectively.
They are also interested in Southampton's Romeo Lavia, Nice's Khephren Thuram and Borussia Monchengladbach's Manu Kone.
Like Lavia, Sabitzer does have Premier League experience, but his recent injury and other available options might dissuade Klopp's side from making a move for the Austrian.
