Liverpool star Luis Díaz admitted that he would one day like to play for a Spanish club.
The Reds have endured a dreadful start to the season, having gone into the World Cup break languishing in sixth place, some seven points from the Champions League places.
Jurgen Klopp’s side has been plagued by a series of injuries. One of those out for an extended period is Colombian winger Diaz.

The 25-year-old has been a revelation since his January arrival at Anfield from Porto and looks set to have a key role in Klopp‘s side in years to come.
Diaz to La Liga?
Liverpool fans may be concerned as Diaz admitted a desire to one day play in La Liga.
Speaking to Soho magazine, the winger said: “I would like to play for a Spanish club that has always attracted my family’s attention, but it is more of a childish dream.”
While Diaz chose not to specify which La Liga club he was referring to, the winger went on to express his admiration for two Barcelona greats - Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho.

“I have wanted to meet some of the people I admire, like Lionel Messi; I had to meet him and I already know him,” said the Colombian.
“I almost died, I almost said ‘I love you’ and everything. Truly, he has always been my reference. My great idol was Ronaldinho, but since he retired, I was never able to face him. The day I meet him, I am really going to die. And well, Lio is the best in the world.
“I love Messi. The first time I had contact with him was in a Colombian game here in Barranquilla, but I didn’t start; I was just starting in the selection. And then I came across him in the Copa America two years ago and it was a great emotion.”

The Columbia international stressed however that he was keen to win more silverware at Liverpool first. In his 11 months at Anfield Diaz has already picked up an EFL Cup and the FA Cup winners medal.
He said: “Now I only think about lifting trophies and making history with Liverpool, which is one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity they have given me.”
