Forgotten Liverpool player Arthur Melo has been included in Jurgen Klopp’s squad for the Reds’ mid-season trip to Dubai.
Arthur signed for the Merseyside club on transfer deadline day from Juventus after Klopp’s side was hit with an injury crisis.
While the Brazilian was earmarked to bolster Klopp’s midfield option, he suffered an injury of his own that has restricted him to just one substitute appearance for the club.

Arthur’s thigh injury required surgery, with no timeframe given on a potential return for the player.
While Liverpool supporters have widely assumed the 26-year-old’s loan would be terminated in January, Klopp has included the player in his 33-man squad for a mid-season trip to Dubai.
The move suggests Arthur perhaps has more of a future at the club than many anticipated.

Injured trio Luis Diaz, Joel Matip and Naby Keita will also all join the tour, as they work their way back to full fitness.
Meanwhile, Diogo Jota, who is battling back from a calf injury, will also continue his rehab in the Middle Eastern sunshine.
Reds youngsters Ben Doak, Stefan Bajcetic and Kaide Gordon have all made the trip, while Darwin Nunez is set to link up with the Liverpool squad next week following Uruguay’s World Cup exit.
