Gary Neville has named one Liverpool star in his team of the year, believing him to be the best in the world in that position.
Despite a shaky start to the Reds' season, Neville believes Brazilian shot-stopper Alisson remains the best goalkeeper in the world.
The 30-year-old has had a tricky time of late, conceding three goals against Brentford before gifting Goncalo Guedes a tap-in during Liverpool's FA Cup 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

However, there is no questioning how important the former Roma star is to Jurgen Klopp, amassing a series of incredible saves across the years. His elite distribution only adds to his appeal, registering three assists, and remarkably one goal during his five seasons at Anfield.
The very fact that Brazil manager chose Alisson ahead of Manchester City keeper Ederson for their World Cup campaign speaks for itself, with the latter off the back of winning a Premier League title.
Neville praises "frightening" Alisson
Neville named Alisson in his team of the year, indicating that the Liverpool man sets the standard for goalkeepers across the footballing world.

“I think he’s been the best in the world. The World Cup might have just shed a little bit of doubt on that, if anybody had any doubt over that. But for me, he still remains the best goalkeeper that I see in world football at this moment in time,” Neville told Sky Sports.
"There is one statistic in the Premier League this season that is absolutely frightening when it comes to Alisson. Only 11 goalkeepers out of the 28 used this season have performed better in comparison to their expected goals conceded," he added.
Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga is in second place having pushed Edouard Mendy out of the team. Newcastle's Nick Pope is third on the list, having conceded 11 goals despite an expected 14.3 against him.
But leading the pack is Alisson, who has conceded nine fewer goals than expected, report FBRef. Fellow Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher is in agreement with Neville, also naming Alisson in his team of the year.
