Liverpool star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is “virtually certain” to leave the club, according to a fresh report.
Jurgen Klopp is in the middle of a rebuilding job at Liverpool. The club have been reliant on the ever-dependable but ageing Jordan Henderson and the mesmeric but injury-prone Thiago Alcantara in midfield this season.
Meanwhile, a number of fringe players look to be on their way out. Naby Keita’s contract is expiring at the end of the season, while Arthur Melo looks set to return to Juventus upon the expiry of his loan deal.

Meanwhile, Oxlade-Chamberlain also looks likely to end his five-and-a-half-year Liverpool spell, despite having featured regularly for Klopp’s side since the end of the World Cup.
However the former England international reportedly faces a dilemma over his pending exit as he decides whether to go in January or leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

There is growing interest in the 29-year-old this month from Premier League teams as well as those on the continent.
However, with several players in his position available for free at the end of the season, Oxlade-Chamberlain could have more options in the winter window.
A free transfer in the summer would be more lucrative for the midfielder, given the attractive signing-on-fees associated with Bosman deals.
In turn, Oxlade-Chamberlain must weigh up whether to seek a January exit where he will be guaranteed top-flight football, or wait until the summer when the free agency market will be more competitive.
