A video of Lionel Messi's family reacting to the Argentina captain's stunning goal against Australia has gone viral and, spoiler alert, it's a very heart-warming moment.
Messi's opener helped Argentina on their way to a 2-1 win over the Aussies, as he made it count on a landmark night in the World Cup round of 16.
Julian Alvarez was on hand to add the second, as the 2021 Copa America champions held on against a late Australia barrage to move to the quarters, as they now gear up to face the Netherlands in the quarter-finals.

That goal was Messi's 789th goal in what was his 1,000th game as a professional, and it was a special moment for not only him, but also his family too.
Capturing their reactions for Messi to see was a great idea and it's always going to result in a wholesome moment all round (watch it in the video player above).
It wasn't just the fact that Messi scored the opener on a landmark night, he dazzled in Qatar, in what was surely his best performance of the tournament so far.

Having made the stadium erupt, as well as making plenty of bars and homes around Argentina, no reaction would have meant more than that of his family.
With his family all in attendance, including his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their three children Thiago, Mateo and Ciro, their reactions were captured and then revealed to the Paris Saint-Germain forward.

The 35-year-old couldn't hide his happiness and responded by saying: "It's really emotional. Obviously a lot of happiness, I know how they are living all this. How they are suffering and enjoying, just like how all of Argentina is living it.

"It's the first time my sons are conscious of what being in the World Cup means, living this experience and understanding it. They suffer and enjoy a lot just like the rest of us."
Next up is a match against the Netherlands in the quarter-finals, a team that has only lost once since March 2021 and their manager Louis van Gaal hasn't lost a tournament match in 90 minutes since 2001, meaning they will be a stern test for the South American side.
A win there could see them reignite their great rivalry with Brazil, who have to see off South Korea, before then beating the winners of Croatia and Japan.
The World Cup is really starting to heat up now, and you can bet that Messi will have a decisive say, one way or another.
