Lionel Messi delivered a cold response after scoring a hat-trick for Argentina.
On Tuesday night, the reigning world champions were in action as they took on Bolivia at the Estadio Mas Monumental.
Messi scored three while the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Julian Alvarez and Thiago Almada also got onto the scoresheet.

As a result, Lionel Scaloni’s men remain top of the CONMEBOL qualification table with 22 points, three ahead of second-placed Colombia.
After netting a hat-trick, Messi has now scored 112 goals for Argentina, a number that is only better by Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 133 goals for Portugal.
Speaking after the match, Messi was asked: “100 goals with number 10 in the national team, 58th hat-trick, 10th with Argentina, is that why you celebrated the third goal like that?”

The Argentine legend replied: “Nah, honestly, I didn't know and I'm not the one to watch the stats, but it's nice to score another goal.”
At the age of 37, Messi is getting closer and closer towards the end of his career.

Argentina boss Scaloni said: “Messi never ceases to amaze. At one point, I sat down with Pablo Aimar and said to him: ‘this is wonderful man’. I just ask that he plays for as long as he can.
“It’s the only thing I ask because it’s a pleasure to watch him play.”

Speaking about his Argentina future, Messi said: “It’s really nice to come playing here in Argentina, to feel the affection of the people… it moves me how they shout my name.
“I haven’t set any date or deadline regarding my future, I just want to enjoy all of this.”
He added: “It moves me more than ever to be in Argentina and feel the love of the people because I know these could be my last matches.
“Enjoying being happy where I am... this drives me. Despite my age, when I’m here, I feel like a kid because I’m comfortable with this team. As long as I feel good and can keep performing the way I want, we’ll keep enjoying it.”
