Trent Alexander-Arnold may have to get used to a hefty fines list if he joins Real Madrid this summer.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, is reportedly close to finalising a five-year deal at Real Madrid, according to reports by The Guardian – although Liverpool and Real have not confirmed the transfer.
The right-back will likely join the likes of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior among an array of talent in the Spanish capital.

He will have to get to grips with the language, Carlo Ancelotti’s side’s playing style and the cut-throat nature of the Spanish media if he joins the La Liga outfit. And he may also have to get used to a ruthless fine list.
The supposed Madrid fine list was ‘leaked’ in 2019 while Zinedine Zidane was head coach, with MARCA relaying details of the list which was obtained by Deportes Cuatro.
The report suggests that a players can be fined anywhere between €250 to €3,000 depending on the rule they breach.

According to the document, being late to training by just five minutes can set a player back by €250, rising to €500 if they are 15 minutes late and even beyond €1000 for a further delay. An 'unjustifiable' absence from training can cost a player up to €3,000.
But that's not all. Los Blancos stars can be fined for 'misuse' of mobile phones, including when they are being treated by physios or on the team coach, with phones expected to be put on silent.
A fine of €250 could rise up to between €500 and €1,000, the same amount if players miss being weighed - something that the squad are expected to do once a week.

Arguably the strangest supposed rule included in the document states that players can even be punished if they leave the city of Madrid without first obtaining permission from the club.
Players must also seek permission from the club before taking part in commercial or media activities. Other rules state that players must do press conferences in club attire as well as not being allowed visitors in rooms if the team are using a hotel.
It must be stressed that the supposed documents mentioned are from 2019 and the club's practices could've changed since. Real Madrid has also not confirmed that the list is factual.
