Barcelona are keen to make a move to sign one of the Premier League's biggest stars to mark the full re-opening of the newly renovated Camp Nou next year.
The Catalan club are set to welcome supporters back to their famous home at 60 percent capacity before the end of the year, with the full opening of the stadium set for next summer.
Barca closed the Camp Nou back in 2023 for the £1.3 billion remodel which will take the ground to a capacity of 105,000 with escalators to be inserted to allow fans to make their way to the highest point.

The stadium will be completely state of the art and the current La Liga leaders are desperate to make a statement signing to mark the club's era and they appear to have found their target.
According to Spanish outlet 'SPORT' Joan Laporta wants to bring Manchester City's Erling Haaland to the club despite the Catalan club's well-documented financial issues.
Laporta was interested in the Norwegian goal machine during his time at Borussia Dortmund and had opened negotiations with Haaland's agent prior to the striker opting for a move to the Etihad.

It is believed that Laporta has a great relationship with Haaland's current agent Rafela Pimenta, which he is hoping could be pivotal in a deal being struck.
Reports from Spain last month suggested Haaland was close to agreeing a new deal at City, however, this appears to have died down prompting Barcelona to re-ignite their interest in the 24-year-old.
Haaland has got off to another flying start to the Premier League season, scoring 10 goals in City's first seven games including back-to-back hat tricks against West Ham and Ipswich.

The two-time Golden Boot winner also equalled an incredible record held by Cristiano Ronaldo, as he scored his 100th City goal in just his 105th appearance, matching the Portugal star's start in Madrid.
