Erik ten Hag gave an extremely blunt response when asked about Jadon Sancho’s current situation at Manchester United.
The 22-year-old was absent from the squad on Wednesday as the United dispatched Burnley 2-0 in the Carabao Cup.
The winger has not played for United since October 22, and missed the club’s mid-season camp to train in the Netherlands with coaches recommended by Erik ten Hag.

When asked whether Sancho would be involved with United in the near future ten Hag issued a very brief and blunt response.
When will Sancho be back?
When Sky Sports asked Ten Hag if he had an update on Sancho after United’s Carabao Cup win, the Dutchman replied: "No."
When pressed again, the United boss repeated his one-word answer.
As a Borussia Dortmund player Sancho was once the most productive wingers in Europe. Indeed in 137 games for the German club, the player netted some 50 times and recorded 64 assists.

His time at United has been far less fruitful, however, with the player having registered just eight goals across his two seasons at Old Trafford so far.
While he showed a brief resurgence in form at the beginning of this season, registering three goals and one assist, Sancho’s performances have since become less fruitful.
Earlier this month Ten Hag explained that he was not sure when Sancho would be ready to return to the United squad
Ten Hag said, via Express Sport: "We want to bring him back as quickly as possible, but I can't give a prognosis of when that will be.”
