Maybe Harry Maguire is more like Cristiano Ronaldo than we ever realised...
For years opposition fans booed the Manchester United forward, in England it started after his run in with Wayne Rooney during the 2006 World Cup, and for years it only inspired him to play better.

On Tuesday night at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, in Australia, Maguire bizarrely found himself on the end of boos from the crowd, during United's pre season friendly with Crystal Palace.
The centre back isn't really a popular figure amongst fans, mainly down to his performances, and there was some surprise that Erik ten Hag kept him on as captain.
Beyond the booing however, Maguire had an excellent game, as Ten Hag's team continued their perfect record in preseason with a 3-1 win.
So good was the captain that a compilation video of his personal highlights just had to be made, and it's tough to argue how good he looks.
The 29-year-old looked a commanding presence at the back, winning headers and coming forward to make tackled and blocks, and his work on the ball was also a delight.

Ten Hag's style of play, or Ten Hag Ball as it's been dubbed by over excited United fans on social media, could certainly suit the former Leicester City man.
United look in pre season to be working on controlling the game more by keeping possession and having the ball at his feet is something Maguire is more comfortable with than being squared up by a pacey forward.
On Tuesday the England defender completed 60 passed and that included 10 long balls, as United put together some lovely moves, especially for Marcus Rashford's second half goal.
Maguire, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof will all come under pressure for their places in United's team next season with the addition of Lisandro Martinez.

The Argentina centre back worked with Ten Hag at Ajax and is left footed so is a perfect addition to the squad to balance the back line.
Away from the players on Tuesday, fans were impressed with Ten Hag's desire for the players to play in his style, as he could be heard shouting "What the f*** are you doing?" to one player in the 87th minute.
It's no wonder Maguire has upped his game already.
