Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been linked with a possible loan move to Inter Milan ahead of the transfer deadline and Fabrizio Romano has a fresh update on the centre-back's future.
The England international has fallen down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag, starting just one Premier League game since returning from the World Cup.
Following injuries to first-choice centre-backs Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, the United boss has preferred left-back Luke Shaw in the heart of defence in recent weeks.

Maguire has been the subject of rumoured interest from around the continent this month, as per the Daily Mail. Inter Milan are said to have enquired about taking the England international on loan for the rest of the season.
Aston Villa were also linked to the defender earlier in the window. However, a report from the Manchester Evening News branded the rumours 'laughable' ahead of tonight's 11pm deadline.
West Ham also reportedly attempted to sign the defender on loan, but United have not entertained any interest in him.
Romano provides update on Maguire
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has the latest on Maguire, revealing that there is 'no chance' he will leave the cub this January.

Romano tweeted: "Despite links with Inter, Harry Maguire will not leave Manchester United. No chance, never been a concrete option in January.
Maguire is staying at Manchester Utd at least until end of the season."
Maguire did start Saturday's 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup fourth round. Speaking after the game, he stressed his desire to force his way back into Ten Hag's plans whilst admitting it's an issue he's never face in his career before.
"I feel like I’ve looked after myself - I think it’s two-and-a-half weeks since my last start - so I’ve been working hard in training, the lads who’ve been playing have been doing well so when I get the opportunity I need to take it and make sure we win," Maguire explained to ITV. "It was nice to be out there helping the lads and I’m ready when my chance comes.

"I’m working hard every day, I’m pushing, I’m training well, and when my chance comes I need to take it.
"We know at this club we need competition for places, we have some top centre-backs at this club so I think we’re all good from now until the end of the season."
