Manchester United have been forced to delay their signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce, according to Fabrizio Romano.
United agreed terms with Lecce on Tuesday over the signing of the 21-year-old for a reported initial fee of £25 million.
Dorgu, who is a left wing-back but can also play on the opposite flank and in a back four, is set to become Ruben Amorim's first permanent signing as Manchester United manager.

The Denmark international was scheduled to travel to Manchester to complete a medical ahead of his signing being officially finalised.
The Daily Mail report that, once Dorgu has officially been unveiled, United will look to loan out Tyrell Malacia, with Real Betis - the club that signed fellow United outcast Antony on loan - believed to be interested. Celtic are also keen if they can't complete a move for Arsenal's Kieran Tierney.
But the deal for the 21-year-old has been briefly held up, Romano has claimed.

Romano says that Dorgu's medical has had to be 're-scheduled' until the end of the week, due to delays in receiving or submitting the correct paperwork and documents.
It means Dorgu will now have to travel to England over the weekend ahead of the transfer deadline, which is on Monday, February 3.
Romano posted: "Patrick Dorgu's medical at Manchester United to be rescheduled as could now take place over the weekend.
"No issues or problems as deal has been agreed but just due to documents/contracts Dorgu is expected to fly to England over the weekend."

United have also been linked with a move for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, with the 19-year-old having reportedly told Bayern that he wishes to leave the club in January.
David Ornstein of The Athletic reports that Amorim's side will target Tel if he is made available for loan, but both Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing the France international this month.
