Gerard Pique has revealed why he is yet to marry Shakira despite the couple being together for 11 years.
The Barcelona defender met popstar Shakira after appearing in the music video for her single 'Waka Waka (Time For Africa)', which was the 2010 World Cup's official song.

During an appearance on Gary Neville's The Overlap, Pique discussed his relationship with Shakira and was ask why they're yet to tie the knot.
"No, I'm not married," the 35-year-old replied when asked. "It’s her mentality!
"I like it how we are right now. We have two kids, nine and seven, we work good as a couple. We don't have the need to be married, it's fine."

Neville then joked his former Manchester United teammate had already popped the question and been turned down which saw Pique reply: "No no no, I would tell you!"
Pique is one of the best defenders of his generation and remains an influential figure at Barcelona.
The Blaugrana have struggled in recent years, but Pique remains one of their most senior players and most committed.
Barcelona have climbed up to second under Xavi after a poor start to the season under Ronald Koeman.

Pique has started 25 times in La Liga and recently discussed abuse he receives from Espanyol fans.
He even claimed he enjoys being booed by Barca's rivals more than sex.
During a chat with The Wild Project, Pique stated: "I'm happy that Espanyol has been promoted to the first division because that's how we play in their stadium. I like to go there, I get whistled at all the time.

"You laugh and the fans get even madder. There is nothing comparable in the world.
I would say it's better than sex. I enjoy it a lot more than playing against Real Madrid."
Barcelona return to action against Real Betis on Saturday night.
