Mason Greenwood's status for EA Sports FC 24 has been confirmed following his move to Getafe.
After Manchester United confirmed he would not be continuing his career at the club after a thorough investigation was concluded, Greenwood has signed for the Spanish outfit on loan until the end of the season.
There had been plenty of curiosity as to whether he would be included in EA FC 24, the first game of the post-FIFA era.

Greenwood was removed from FIFA 22 after his arrest in January 2022 but EA have clarified that the 21-year-old will be featured in Getafe's squad, however he will not be present in the popular Ultimate Team mode.
A statement from EA said: "EA SPORTS FC 24 authentically reflects the active rosters of teams and clubs in the real world of football.
"As he is now part of an active roster with Getafe CF, Mason Greenwood will be included in FC 24. As Greenwood was not part of an active roster at the time of our cut-off date for final team and player data, he will not appear in Ultimate Team at launch."

EA added that there are currently no plans to add Greenwood into Ultimate Team at this time and he will also not be included in the mobile version of the game because Getafe are not a playable club.
Greenwood's rating on the game is yet to be disclosed ahead of the official worldwide release on September 29.
After charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control against him were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service, it appeared as though United were prepared to reintegrate Greenwood back into the fold at United.

However, backlash led to them publishing a statement confirming Greenwood would move on from United and he subsequently joined for Getafe on transfer deadline day, taking on the No.12 shirt.
Greenwood has been training with the squad ahead of a potential debut against Osasuna on Sunday, having not played a game since January 2022 against West Ham.
The England international is also expected to be added into Football Manager 24 upon its release on November 6.
