Liverpool star handed one of the biggest upgrades seen in EA FC 25 as stunning stats confirmed

EA FC 25 is set to be released on September 27.

A Liverpool defender has been handed a huge upgrade in his rating on EA FC 25.

The popular sports game is set to release on September 27 in the UK with fans waiting patiently for its launch.

Liverpool have some of the highest-rated stars with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alisson all popular cards on EA's Ultimate Team game mode.

But with ratings beginning to be released, one of Arne Slot's defenders is set for a huge boost in his statistics.

With the full database now released, it has been confirmed that Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah will receive a +13 in his rating.

Quansah was rated just 62 last year and was available for players to buy as a bronze card.

Now set to be rated at 75 as a gold rare, the Reds defender will be more than happy with his upgrade.

The 21-year-old enjoyed something of a breakthrough season in Jurgen Klopp's final campaign on Merseyside.

Often preferred over Ibrahima Konate, Quansah made 33 appearances across the entirety of the 2023/24 campaign.

He was also heavily involved as the Reds won the Carabao Cup, registering three assists in the competition.

Quansah has also been a regular for England's Under-21 side too, having made his debut in October 2023.

The Warrington-born defender recently spoke to The Times about his aspirations this season, insisting he wants to reach the very top of the professional game.

“It’s always been the goal since I was young," he began.

"I’ve always wanted to be the best in the world in my position. I’m always striving for that. It doesn’t matter how long it takes.

"I’m just staying ready for whenever it comes.

Having adapted to the fresh demands set by new Liverpool boss Slot, Quansah is welcoming the challenges ahead of him.

“There’s a lot more possession, as you can probably see,” Quansah said.

“Last year we played with a lot of intensity and chaos, I think we called it organised chaos.

“This year there’s a more rigid approach to how we build out from the back.

"Everyone knows what they need to be doing, instead of [it being] a bit more off the cuff."
