Antony has humiliating statistic on EA Sports FC 25 as Man Utd winger gets huge downgrade

It's bad news for fans of the Man Utd winger.

Manchester United winger Antony has received a downgrade in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team - and has a humiliating statistic.

The 24-year-old scored just one Premier League goal last season, and provided only one assist.

He hasn't started either of United's league fixtures so far this term, with his only appearance being as an injury time substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Brighton - in which Brighton scored in injury time.

Antony has even been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, two years after he joined the club from Ajax for an initial fee of £86 million.

Last month, it was claimed that Turkish giants Besiktas were mulling a bid for the Brazilian, but that interest appeared not to progress.

Now, Antony has received a significant downgrade to his Ultimate Team card for EA FC 25.

He was rated 81 at the beginning of EA FC 24, with 87 dribbling and 73 physical being his key base stats.

But he has received a significant drop this time around, and is now rated at 77. He has, however, kept his rare gold card status.

However, Antony has lost six shooting points, five dribbling points and even three defending points.

But the worst stat of all is his weak foot.

Last year, his weaker right foot was awarded two stars, to go along with five star skill moves.

But he has now been given just one star weak foot - a level usually reserved largely for goalkeepers.

In fact, only 35 outfield players on EA FC 24 were given a one star weak foot, with Antony now joining that list.

Speaking in an interview with The Telegraph earlier this month, Antony vowed to improve his form and get back to the levels which saw United spend £86 million on him.

He said: "I'm writing down my goals for this season and I look at them every day. I haven't been doing this for that long, but I'm doing it a lot more this season.

"For every game, I need to put something in writing. It's really important for me, you know?

"It allows me to visualise and mentalise and then step on to the pitch with this in mind. I'm also doing this in training as well and it really helps me.

"New season, new mindset. I'm a lot more focused and prepared to achieve great things. I know that this season will be totally different."
