Viktor Gyokeres is one of the most in-form players in world football right now.
The 26-year-old striker, who joined Sporting CP from Championship side Coventry last summer for a club-record €20 million, has been nothing short of sensational in the famous green and white.
He netted 34 times in all competitions under Ruben Amorim last season, including 29 in the league, as Sporting cruised to the Portuguese title after finishing 10 points ahead of nearest rivals Benfica.

And the prolific Swede has already started the new season with six goals in his first three league games.
It's fair to say late bloomer Gyokeres is in the form of his life right now – and EA Sports have clearly been taking notes over the course of 2024.
Just days after scoring a hat-trick in Sporting's 5-0 victory over Farense, a screenshot of his 'leaked' 84-rated card on FC 25 emerged online.

X user ASY FUT TRADER posted what could end up being the most overpowered forward in the game, with standout stats including 91 physical, 90 pace and 83 shooting; not to mention a very respectable dribbling stat of 80.
Here's how fans reacted to the card.
One said: "The perfect starter ST for FC 25," while another commented: "One of the best 84 rated cards in the last few years. How are the these stats only 84?"
A third wrote: "Shooting and pace enough to make opponents cry."

A fourth said: "Hee has more pace and more physical than Haaland," and a fifth added: "The most underrated player in the world right now."
Gyokeres, who has scored more goals in 2024 than any other player in Europe’s top leagues, has received a significant upgrade on his 75-rated FC 24 card.
On this year's game, he was handed 80 pace, 72 shooting and 85 physical, as well as 76 dribbling.
A handful of clubs have been linked with a move for Gyokeres this summer, including Arsenal.

Back in June, Portuguese publication Leonino said Arsenal were all set to sign the player in a deal worth an initial €90m (£75m), with add-ons potentially taking the deal as high as €120m (£100m).
A fee of that size would make Gyokeres the second most expensive signing in Arsenal's history, just shy of the £105 million they paid for Declan Rice.
But the Gunners have yet to strike with just days remaining of the summer window.
