One of the biggest complaints about the latest instalment of EA FC has been the overall menu experience, with fans mentioning "menu lag" and "delays" in recents days – but there are solutions.
Later this week, EA Sports FC 25 will be released worldwide, although players who have paid for early access have been able to play it early.
Fans are now able to try new features such as Rush – a fast-paced 5v5 mode – as well as Live Start Points and Snapshots in Career Mode, where players can take over real-world situations.

Ultimate Team continues to be the most popular mode but for many in the community, issues around the menu experience have somewhat tainted the opening days of release.
One fan wrote on X: "I thought the menus were bad in EA FC 24. But this years game is even worse. A lot of menu lag, buttons not registering (dangerous when sniping or listing) and I think i have reset my game 15-20 times since launch."
A second said: "The menus seem so unresponsive when you click on things," while another commented: "The fact EA released FC 25 and the menus are in this state is insulting."

There is, however, a number of workarounds. According to Dexetro, changing the Graphics Mode setting to 'Favour Resolution' removes extra features and improves the overall menu scrolling experience.
To do this, you need to load up the main EA FC 25 menu and click the cog icon in the top left called ‘Customise'.
After this, you must click ‘Settings‘ and then ‘Game Settings' before pressing RB (XBOX) or R1 (PlayStation) to get to the ‘Graphics Mode' and select ‘Favour Resolution‘.
In addition to the above, FUT trader Donk believes switching the 'Reaction time modifier' to off will help with delay and lag.
"It definitely does [help], however I think it might be bugged and it’s not turning off for some people," added Donk.

"I’ve seen it be set as “On” but the slider bar below can’t be changed. Turn it off and then you can change it. Opposite of what it should be."
EA FC art director Fab Muoio recently opened up about the benefits of the new graphic options after confirming that FC 25 will default to the 'Enhanced Visuals' setting.
“FC 25 will have ray traced and occlusion as part of enhanced visuals,” Muoio said.
“We'll have full cloth sim on the jersey and the shorts during gameplay, self-shadowing at all times of the day, rim lighting on the players. So what that does is the closeup shots will really punch out from the background, and give you more depth to the frame. And then we will have 3D pitch divots and puddles as well.

“Particularly with shadowing, we see the shadowing on the pitch, on the player, even in the crowd we see that impact of the shadows there.”
Muoio added: “Looking at Favour Resolution, we have cloth sim on the shorts only during gameplay and self-shadowing is only available during the day."
