Zinedine Zidane has revealed which two Premier League grounds he most enjoyed visiting during his career.
Zidane was one of the best midfielders of his generation and finished his club career with an impressive 13 trophies from his time at Bordeaux, Juventus and Real Madrid.
On the international stage, he won the 1998 World Cup in Paris scoring a brace, helping France to a 3-0 win over Brazil. Following his retirement from playing in 2006, he embarked on his journey into coaching, becoming Real Madrid Castilla (reserve team) manager in 2014.

He became first-team manager in 2016, and his habit of winning silverware continued when he secured three consecutive Champions League crowns between 2016 and 2018.
He also captured La Liga glory in 2017 and 2020 before leaving the role in 2021. He has been without a club since.
Zidane has played and managed in some of the best stadiums in world football, becoming a hero at the Santiago Bernabeu for his contributions to Los Blancos.

He christened Hampden Park with a breathtaking match-winning volley against Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 Champions League final.
But when asked what his favourite away grounds to visit were, he named two other British stadiums.
“Liverpool,” Zidane told Real Madrid’s YouTube channel in September 2024.
Zidane never played club football at Anfield, but he did feature during France’s penalty shootout victory against the Netherlands in the Euro 1996 quarter-final. ‘Zizou’ scored Les Bleus’ first penalty of the shootout.

The 52-year-old has also managed Real Madrid to a 0-0 draw (3-1 aggregate win) at Anfield in the quarter-final of the 2021 Champions League.
“I also remember Manchester United,” he added.
“We played some impressive matches against them [at Old Trafford].”

The Marseille-born man featured four times at Old Trafford, losing twice, drawing once and winning on a single occasion with Juventus in November 1996.
Despite clearly admiring the two English stadiums, Zidane admitted that there is another one that he deems his favourite.
“The [Santiago] Bernabeu is top, top, top,” he added.
“For me, the Bernabeu is number one. The people, stadium, everything, the history that the club [Real Madrid] has, the best,” he added.
