If a Plymouth Argyle player decides to break the rules and wear a pair of flip flops in the dressing room showers this season, then he will receive a £10 fine.
How do we know that? Well, this pretty insignificant fine features alongside 25 others on a much-talked about list.
From having to pay a £20 penalty if you forget to bring birthday cake to the training ground, to a hefty £250 fine if someone decides to swerve the Christmas party.

Steven Schumacher has presumably devised this entertaining list of rules and regulations following their recent promotion to the Championship.
Turn up late for training? £50. Turn up late on matchday? £200. If you decide to "not sing"? £250.
Players will also be fined £10 if they don't cleaning their plates and cups in the canteen; not to mention another tenner for “megs in boxes the day before a game”.

Here's how social media have reacted to the fine list.
One fan said: "Strange sense of priorities. Late for Matchday...£200 fine. Not singing is £250 fine!" while another commented: "Fine for not showing up to team nights out is very very valid."

A third wrote: "No flip flops in showers would damage me, hate the things."
A fourth added: "Think I’d be bankrupt if I played for them. And that’s just me getting fined for kicking balls over the fence, let alone anything else."
A picture showing a list of fines Frank Lampard implemented during his first spell as Chelsea manager did the rounds again recently, and it featured a £20,000 penalty for being late to training.
There was a list of 12 rules in total and they were all signed off by Lampard on August 27th, 2019.

As you can from the picture below, the fines were typed up, framed and placed on the wall as a reminder to the first-team squad.
One punishment that caught the eye was £500 for every minute that a player is late to a team meeting.
In addition to that rule, players were fined £1,000 for being late to the gym and taking/making a phone call during a team meal.

At the bottom of the document, we also see a host of internal rules that players needed to follow.
Body composition targets not being met also resulted in fines, while player agents and representatives were not permitted access to the club's Cobham training ground unless Lampard gave his approval.
There was also information in regards to breakfast being served and guidance on players travelling abroad on their days off.
