A Liverpool defender could be ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining a serious hamstring injury.
Arne Slot has a number of options at full-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Bradley, Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas all currently available to play.
That has meant the Reds have been able to loan out a number of their young talents, with many of those currently playing in the EFL.

One of those young players is left-back Calum Scanlon, who has been on loan at Millwall since August.
But his campaign has been disrupted by injury issues, meaning he was only able to make one appearance until the beginning of January.
Scanlon returned to action under new manager Alex Neil and scored his first senior goal in a 2-2 draw against Cardiff on January 21.

But he was forced off after just 17 minutes of their next fixture against Luton with another injury.
Speaking after Millwall's 1-0 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday evening, former Norwich and Preston North End manager Neil confirmed that Scanlon has suffered a hamstring injury that is expected to rule him out until the end of the season.
He said: "Calum's got a grade three on his hamstring. He will be probably twelve weeks, so maybe a season-finisher for Calum."
The 19-year-old signed for Liverpool from Birmingham for a fee of around £500,000 in 2021.

He made two appearances in last season's Europa League under Jurgen Klopp, though has yet to make his Premier League debut despite being named in a matchday squad on two occasions.
There is believed to be hope among those at Anfield that Scanlon can be a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson - with the Millwall loan aimed at propelling him into the first team in a similar way to Conor Bradley's successful stint at Bolton in the 2022/23 season - but his latest injury problem may well put those plans on hold for the time being at least.
