Newcastle fans have just discovered the tattoo Joelinton's wife has on her arm and can't believe it's real

Joelinton is one of Newcastle United's most important players.

Newcastle United fans have been reacting on social media after seeing what Joelinton's wife, Thays Gondim, has tattooed on her arm.

Back in the summer of 2019, Brazilian star Joelinton joined Newcastle from German side Hoffenheim for a reported fee of £40 million.

Since then, the striker-turned-midfielder has scored 29 goals in 208 appearances across all competitions.

Off the pitch, Joelinton started dating Thays in 2015 before marrying her in May 2024 and the pair have three children together.

Recently, Newcastle fans spotted what Thays has tattooed on her arm after Joelinton posted a picture on social media.

On Thays' arm, the tattoo read: "Big Joe", which is a nickname given to Joelinton by the Magpies fans.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: "She loves the Toon."

Another tweeted: "As a tattoo it’s s*** but it’s says big joe so yeah."

A third fan added: "What a tattoo his lass has, mind."

Someone else wrote: "Went to insta to check, fully expecting this to have been doctored. Sensational."

A fifth commented: "That is one of the best I have ever seen."

Back in April 2024, Joelinton signed a new deal with Newcastle, he said at the time: "I feel great. I feel very happy and my family is happy.

"A lot of things have happened in my years here. I've learnt a lot and grown a lot, and for me to come here to Newcastle was the best decision of my career."

Joelinton added: "I love playing for the club. I love the club, I love the fans. We had a lot of discussions and I always wanted to be here. I'm glad to continue and I hope to have success in the years to come."

Eddie Howe's men are back in Premier League action on Wednesday night when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at St. James' Park.
