Fans think it's 'time for an uncomfortable conversation' about one star after Real Madrid's humiliating defeat to Barcelona

Fans turned on ONE player after Real Madrid's crushing defeat to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Barca recorded a famous win over Real as they secured a stunning 5-2 victory in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha (x2) and Alejandro Balde all got on the score-sheet as Hansi Flick's side came from behind to win the Spanish Super Cup.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring, but Barca hit back with five unanswered goals, with Rodrygo pulling one back on the hour mark.

Barca were able to control the game, dominating the midfield as Pedri starred in the middle of the park.

He outshone Jude Bellingham, who was subjected to fierce criticism by fans online following his outing.

Bellingham failed to inspire his side to victory as people on social media slammed his performance.

One X user wrote: "This fraud is only aura farming against small teams."

A second claimed: "Pedri humiliated Bellingham so bad tonight I've never seen anything like this before."

A third added: "Bellingham tucked his shirt in to look busy. We see you bro."

A fourth said: "Jude Bellingham has mastered the art of looking busy on a football pitch. The casuals love it, the analytics guys love it, I see through it. He is not elite in any sense of the word, closer to a Scott McTominay than a Pedri or a Musiala . A 6/10 on his best day. Overrated."

Another commented: "Bellingham cannot dominate a midfield that has Pedri in it, but because of one or two taps in, they’d say he’s better."

Bellingham has been a revelation for Real since his £88.5 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

He scored an impressive 23 goals in his debut season as he helped his team win the Champions League.

But some fans are still not convinced with the England international following his showing against their arch-rivals.
