Memphis Depay has reportedly agreed a deal to join a club that nobody would have expected.
The Dutch forward became available as a free agent this summer after his contract with La Liga side Atletico Madrid expired after two-and-a-half-years at the club.
Throughout his career, Depay has spent time with several big clubs including Manchester United, Barcelona and Olympique Lyon.

But now the 30-year-old is set to move to another club, and it has come as a massive shock.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Depay has reached an agreement in principle with Brazilian club Corinthians.
As it stands, the player has reached a verbal agreement with the club and the documents to finalise the deal are being drafted as some key details are yet to be confirmed and checked with Depay's management.

Should everything go ahead, he will sign a two-year deal with the club, keeping him there until 2026.
Reacting to the surprise news on X, one fan expressed their disappointment with the move, writing: "What a brutal end to a good career. I can still remember how he was a menace before his move to Man United. Good luck man😭"
Another agreed, suggesting wages could explain the shock move, writing: "Bro if he just lowers his wage, he could sign for big clubs! Will he end his career in brazil? Not saying Corinthians is bad but come on."
However, one fan saw the bright side of the move, praising the infamous atmosphere in South American football.

They added: "Wow. What news this for Corinthians and Memphis Depay! He is definitely gonna enjoy that atmosphere!"
With 13 games left of the Brazil Serie A season, Corinthians are currently sat in 17th, putting them within the relegation zone.
In the 20-team Brazilian league, the four lowest placed teams are relegated to Serie B and replaced by the four best teams of the second division who earn promotion.

However, making the move will create history for Depay who would become only the second Dutch player to play in the premier division in Brazil, following in the footsteps of the iconic midfielder Clarence Seedorf who spent two seasons at Botafogo.
