Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has revealed he is addicted to an unusual hobby outside of football.
Since joining Liverpool from Roma back in 2017 for a reported fee of £34.3 million, Salah has developed into one of the best players in world football.
Over the years, Salah has been undoubtedly Liverpool’s most important player as he played a key role in the Reds’ Premier League and Champions League triumphs.
Salah revealed to Sky Sports that he is addicted to playing chess.

The Egyptian said: “I play chess, I am addicted to chess. Every day, literally every day.”
Salah went on to reveal he plays against random people online, he said: “I put my name and some numbers so some people they ask ‘are you Mo Salah’, i say ‘yes’, they don’t believe it and say ‘you are lying’, I say ‘yes I’m lying.’”
When asked if he is good at chess, the Liverpool forward replied: “I’m good, I’m not Magnus(Carlsen) but I’m good. No one has a chance with Magnus.”
Salah's love for chess was on show during the summer transfer window in which he was heavily linked with a move to Saudi Professional League side Al Ittihad. The forward posted an Instagram story of him playing chess whilst the rumours of him leaving Liverpool were at an all-time high.

Salah was also asked to name a dream teammate that he had never played with.
He replied: “Messi or Ronaldo, but if I pick one in the Premier League I choose Kevin De Bruyne."
“He has vision and I’m sure he can find me anywhere with the ball so I would say Messi or Ronaldo or Kevin.”
