Ruben Amorim has put all his Manchester United eggs in the Europa League basket and it's just as well.
Man Utd have been transparent in shifting their focus to securing an unlikely Champions League place by winning this season's Europa League after their sensational comeback win over Lyon in the quarter-final.
Yet they risk further embarrassment in the Premier League after losing at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

United stay in 14th but Pablo Sarabia's goal took Wolves level on points with them in 15th, while Tottenham Hotspur in 16th would go above both if they win their game in hand.
Wolves are now officially safe from relegation with five games to go but United, now winless in four in the league, are only two points above West Ham United in 17th place.
At the end of a season like that, it's only natural that Man Utd fans should look for the positives.

Amorim's team selection against Wolves was unsurprising after he telegraphed his intention to make changes and the senior debut of 20-year-old central defender Tyler Fredricson gave cause for optimism even in defeat.
The Manchester-born United academy graduate played the full 90 minutes and was one of his team's better players on an otherwise forgettable day at Old Trafford.
While many of his team-mates were panned by supporters on social media yet again, Fredricson was singled out along with Harry Amass for a very different reaction.

"Fredricson should definitely be on the pre-season tour," posted one user on X, formerly Twitter.
"Amass and Fredricson did well," said another, "but Hojlund is not good enough even for the Manchester United bench."
"IF he was that good in his FIRST ever START imagine how good he can become WOW," wrote one fan with crumbs under their caps lock key. "Tyler Fredricson you are unbelievable my friend."
"Fredricson looked like he has been playing Prem football for months," posted another user.

"I don't think we were so bad," mused a fan. "Just a brilliantly taken free kick while we kept wasting chances. The kids however performed brilliantly. Kudos to Amass and Fredricson."
