Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson's feelings on Erik ten Hag's transfers have finally been revealed.
An official statement from United on Monday afternoon confirmed that former manager Erik Ten Hag had been sacked after two years in charge of the club.
Perhaps one of the biggest criticisms of Ten Hag during his time at United was his business in the transfer window, with several players that he brought to the club viewed by fans as flops.

And now, details of a conversation between club legend Sir Alex Ferguson and his close friends have emerged online that reveal exactly how the former manager feels about Ten Hag's signings.
According to The New York Times, during Ten Hag's time at the club, there were regular concerns within the club over whether the players being targeted by the Dutch manager were Premier League-ready.
And this opinion was shared by Ferguson, who told close friends that signings made by Ten Hag throughout his time as United boss were below the level necessary to win the League.

Undoubtedly one of the worst signings made by Ten Hag at United was Brazilian winger Antony, who joined the club in September 2022 from Ajax for a reported fee of £86million.
The forward signed a five year deal with the club, keeping him there until 2027, but United have an option to extend the deal by a further year included in his contract.
But despite the big fee and contract that came with signing Antony, the 24-year-old has failed to make his mark at United, scoring just 12 goals in 87 appearances for the club.

Antony was just one of five players signed to the United squad who had played for Ten Hag during his time as Ajax manager, with Lisandro Martinez, Andre Onana, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui the other four.
The jury remains out on both de Ligt and Mazraoui and, while Martinez and Onana have arguably proved their worth for United, signing five players from his former club likely showed a concerning lack of imagination for Ferguson and United's higher-ups.
And with Ten Hag's start to the 2024/25 Premier League season unacceptable, they felt it was finally time to move on from the Dutch manager.
