Fabrizio Romano has given a huge update on the future of Mason Greenwood at Manchester United.
Greenwood has enjoyed a productive season at La Liga side Getafe after joining the Spanish club on a season long loan from United last summer.
United suspended the attacker in 2022 after he was arrested and charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour.

Greenwood denied all allegations and the charges were subsequently dropped upon the withdrawal of key witnesses and new material on the case coming to to light.
United conducted an internal investigation, and after its completion it was decided that the 22-year-old should spend the current campaign away from the club.
After completing his minority takeover of United, INEOS chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe left the door open for Greenwood to resume his career at Old Trafford.

However, it now looks like Greenwood's time with the Premier League giants could be over.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Greenwood is expected to leave United on a permanent transfer in the summer.
Having contributed eight goals and five assists in 26 outings this season, Getafe are keen to keep hold of the attacker.
Getafe president Angel Torres has expressed his desire to keep Greenwood at the club beyond the end of the current season, although admitted that it will be difficult to meet United's asking price.

The Englishman has been linked with a sensational move to Barcelona, who despite their own financial restrictions, are more likely to be able to meet his price tag of around £30 million.
The latest update on Greenwood's future follows reports that United will block him from taking part in the club's pre-season tour of the United States in July.
Greenwood's United contract is valid until 2025, although United could trigger a one-year extension that would increase the player's value.
