Ruben Amorim has reportedly made his mind up on the future of Manchester United winger Antony.
Amorim, 39, is expected to become the new manager of Man United, with an announcement thought to be imminent after Erik ten Hag left the club on Monday.
On Thursday, Amorim explained: “It will be very clear, it is one more day, after the game tomorrow, we will have the decision made.”

Despite the obvious pull of the Red Devils seemingly being something most managers cannot turn down, the reality of the situation is that the club sit 14th in the Premier League, with several players underperforming so far this season.
One of the underperforming stars is Antony, 24, who was one of Ten Hag’s first signings, having previously worked together at Ajax.
The Brazilian is United’s second-most expensive recruit of all time – behind Paul Pogba - costing a staggering £80m in the summer of 2022.

Since arriving at Old Trafford, he has struggled to put together a consistent run of good performance so far, registering just 12 goals and five assists in 87 appearances for the Red Devils.
However, he is expected to be handed a lifeline by Amorim as he is one of several players set to fight for their place despite the club previously listening to offers in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The player’s contract at United is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Several clubs, including Premier League side Wolves, are thought to be interested in the player, with the likes of Benfica and Porto also said to be keen on the Brazilian, according to Caught Offside.

While still United manager in September, Ten Hag stressed how the player had to “earn the right” to start ahead of the likes of Marcus Rashford, Amad and Alejandro Garnacho on the flanks.
“We are happy with that: two players [Amad and Garnacho] developed from the academy into the team, into the selection,” said Ten Hag.
“Now he has to bounce back, and he has the abilities to do it. If he is doing the right thing, he can compete with them.”

“We have training every day, and the players have to earn the right,” Ten Hag explained.
“When the attitude is good and [they] show performance in training, then they will play.”
