Another Manchester United departure has been confirmed following news that Erik ten Hag is staying put at Old Trafford.
After a detailed end of season review which lasted two weeks and included discussions with potential candidates, United's new owners INEOS, have reportedly decided to keep Ten Hag after he led the club to an FA Cup final win over Manchester City.
Both parties are now set to step up talks over a new deal.
United had released a total of seven players in a summer clear-out, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Raphael Varane and Brandon Williams moving on.

In a club statement released, United also said that youngster Omari Forson had been offered a new deal and included him in their retained list.
However, the player rejected the terms he was offered and his current contract at United will expire at the end of the month.
He has already found a club though, with Serie A side Monza snapping him up and branding Forson "one of the most promising prospects in Europe".

After coming through the ranks, the 19-year-old has left United in pursuit of regular football and penned a four-year deal with the Lombardy outfit.
Ten Hag gave Forson his United debut in an FA Cup win over Wigan last season and he assisted Kobbie Mainoo's winner against Wolves in his Premier League bow.
Forson played seven times in all competitions, including the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City.
On Instagram, he shared a picture of him and Ten Hag on the touchline, complete with a message expressing his gratitude.

He wrote: "Appreciate all the opportunities you gave me. Gonna show the world what you saw in me a long time ago.”
