Manchester United fan Luke Littler named his dream football XI and included some of Liverpool and Manchester City’s finest.
Littler, 16, has propelled himself to national attention in the past few weeks after an extraordinary run to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship on his debut.
The teenager’s fairytale three weeks ended at the final hurdle, losing 7-4 to World No.1 Luke Humphries in the final, but his exploits have brought a plethora of new fans to the sport.

Away from darts, Littler is a big United fan and even received tickets for a stadium tour as one of his Christmas presents this year.
However, he appears to be appreciative of the game beyond Old Trafford, having picked a dream XI of players that he has witnessed in his short time on earth.
Littler has opted for Bayern Munich and Germany icon Manuel Neuer between the sticks, protected by a back four of former Real Madrid full-back Marcelo, Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk, ex-Los Blancos star Sergio Ramos and Barcelona legend Dani Alves.
Littler has opted for a midfield of Andres Iniesta and Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne pulling the strings in front of Leicester City and Chelsea legend N’Golo Kante.

His front three features United and Real legend Ronaldo on the left flank and his long-term rival Lionel Messi on the right, with Wayne Rooney leading the line.
Of course, Rooney is United’s record scorer and the only player in club history to score over 250 goals.
Littler’s exploits in the World Championship have seen him inundated with messages of support from a series of celebrities, not least some of United's past and present stars.
“I've got a lot of followers now. I've had a message off Luke Shaw, from Manchester United, from Rio Ferdinand, and I had a message off Gary Neville and Jonny Evans before my game against Barney,” Littler told the BBC.

“It's just crazy, people I've looked up to, especially my club Man United, wishing me luck.”
