Bundesliga side FC Augsburg have aimed a not-so-subtle dig at Manchester United following their disappointing start to the 2024/25 campaign.
With just seven games played, United are already 10 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool as they struggle to find the net.
In fact, Erik ten Hag's side have scored five goals in the league, and have failed to score in each of their last three – equalling their worst run without a goal in the competition under the Dutch manager.

Last weekend's underwhelming goalless draw to Aston Villa could be the final draw for Ten Hag, who is under serious pressure following Sunday's game.
His role as manager will be scrutinised on Tuesday at a scheduled meeting in London, with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to attend alongside several members of the leadership team, including chief executive Omar Berrada.
With all that being said, Bundesliga side FC Augsburg have decided to rub salt into the wounds by reminding United fans of their position in the league table.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday afternoon, the Bavarian club wrote: "RT if your club is higher in the table than Man United," just months after writing: "RT if your club has a better goal differential than Man United."
Here's how fans on social media reacted to the below post.
One said: "Can’t logically understand how certain United fans who back the current manager are happy with pretty much any random club taking a pop at them."
A second wrote: "Ten Hag inners. I want y’all to look at this, because Augsburg could’ve said this last season too. This is where we are as a football club."

A third commented: "Hated, adored, never ignored," and a fourth added: "We really are the biggest club in the world."
At the end of last month, Erik ten Hag responded to questions around his immediate future following the club's humiliating 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.
"I'm not thinking about being sacked," he said. "We all made this decision to stay together in the summer, as an ownership group, leadership group.

"Also we made the decision, after a clear review, what we have to improve as an organisation and how to construct a squad.
Ten Hag added: "All decisions are made in togetherness, also knowing it would take some time. We are all there on one page, one boat, the ownership, the leadership group, the staff and players too."
