Kobbie Mainoo gives composed post-match interview after scoring Man United winner

Kobbie Mainoo spoke to TNT Sports after scoring Manchester United's winner against Wolves.

Kobbie Mainoo gave a brilliant post-match interview following his dramatic winner for Manchester United against Wolves on Thursday.

Mainoo grabbed Man United's winner against Wolves in the 97th minute after Pedro Neto had levelled proceedings in the 95th minute.

The 18-year-old produced a moment of magic to score his side's winner as he nutmegged Max Kilman before curling home a stunning strike.

Despite scoring his first Premier League goal of his career, he had a cool celebration, delighting Sir Alex Ferguson in the process.

After the match, Mainoo spoke to TNT Sports, where he called his starring moment a 'dream come true' in a composed interview.

Speaking to Jules Breach, he said: "It is a dream come true.

"It is a tough place to come. We had to get the win. I have still not come down from it. I still feel like I am dreaming, to be honest.

"To start playing in the Premier League for my boyhood club has been amazing. Now it’s about trying to win more games."

Bruno Fernandes praised the youngster, adding: "Two, three years ago I said to my friend (and) I was in Manchester and he wanted to see some youth games and I said at the time the name of Kobbie without knowing he was going to be this talent."

Rasmus Hojlund, who got on the score-sheet, also hailed Mainoo after the result. In another post-match interview, he said: "All the lads were speaking about him [when I first joined], saying he's a generational talent."

Mainoo scored his first goal for Man United in last weekend's FA Cup victory over Newport County and has now scored his first league goal for his boyhood club.

Man United's 4-3 victory over Wolves sees them lie in seventh place in the table, with 35 points on the board.
