Erik ten Hag has been slammed for a post-match interview where he said FA Cup opponents Newport County "had nothing".
United took on the Welsh outfit in a thrilling fourth round tie at Rodney Parade on Sunday afternoon.
The Red Devils secured passage to the fifth round with a 4-2 win but it was anything but unconvincing.

United raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to fine goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo but Bryan Morris pulled one back with a long-range strike just before half-time.
And the League Two outfit found themselves in dreamland when Will Evans stabbed home an equaliser just after half-time.
Antony would later put United back in the lead, before Rasmus Hojlund sealed the win in stoppage time.

Newport produced a spirited performance against last season's finalists but Ten Hag angered many when he played down what they offered in the game.
The Dutchman was analysing his team's display during an interview with the BBC.
He said: "We had very good chances. And they had nothing. Really nothing. And out of nothing, they score a goal."

But plenty felt the United boss was a little disrespectful with his comments.
One commented: "Finds new ways to be despicable, week and week out."
Another said: "Well done mate, they’re 16th in League 2."
A third simply wrote: "This is embarrassing."

A fourth fired back, saying: "This is very strange. Newport had 17 shots and were well worth a couple of goals."
A final user fumed: "They had nothing but scored 2 goals. You struggled against a League 2 team. Show a bit of respect and class please."
However, it should be noted that Ten Hag did show his class by gifting Newport boss Graham Coughlan a bottle of wine.

United will take on the winner of the replay between Bristol City and Nottingham Forest after the two served up a goalless draw on Friday night.
Next up though is a trip to Wolves on Thursday night.
