Manchester United have suffered a transfer blow as one of Erik ten Hag's targets has ruled out a move this month.
Man United are thought to be in the market for new talent ahead of the second half of the season.
They currently occupy seventh place in the Premier League table and are out of Europe completely, but remain in the FA Cup.

Ten Hag's side are 11 points adrift of fourth-placed Aston Villa as they look to finish in the Champions League spots to earn qualification.
The Red Devils, who are coming off a 2-2 draw against Tottenham, are looking at transfer options before the window slams shut.
A forward is believed to be high on the Dutch boss' transfer wish-list as he looks to offer support for Rasmus Hojlund, who scored his second league goal in his team's last outing.

Ten Hag is keen on Ajax's Brian Brobbey, but a move for the player during the January transfer window is off the cards after he ruled out a switch to Man United.
Asked about the reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford, he said: "I also saw it on the news. But I will stay in Amsterdam."
However, the 21-year-old refused to completely rule out a transfer in the future, adding: "Would they be allowed to come back in the summer? Haha, who knows."

Ajax boss John van 't Schip said Brobbey is not for sale this month. He told reporters: "As far as I'm concerned, he's not for sale.
"So yes, I hang that around his neck. It wouldn't be useful if he left now. But who am I to say that? We try to keep the group as strong as possible.
"Then Brobbey is a very important player in that. I don't decide whether he leaves, but insane amounts of money will be needed."
This season, Brobbey has scored an impressive 15 goals in 26 matches in all competitions.

But a move away from the Dutch giants seems unlikely, though Man United and Ten Hag could come knocking again in the summer.
