A contingent of Manchester United fans have reacted to Erik ten Hag's comments on the Glazers during his interview with Gary Neville.
In a wide-ranging interview with Sky Sports, Ten Hag spoke to Neville about the current state of United, the club’s failed pursuit of Harry Kane last summer, and their new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
And while discussing Ratcliffe’s arrival and the Glazer's concession of control over football matters at the club, Ten Hag impressed a section of the United faithful.

When asked about the sporting structure at United compared to his past experiences at Ajax and Bayern Munich, Ten Hag said: “I have to say, I worked very well with the leadership in this club.
“But it’s fair to say, it’s important for a club. And now we have a change and I'm optimistic for the future that the changes [they make] will be right, but I can’t say anything negative about how it was before.”
Several supporters were impressed by Ten Hag’s comments on the club administration and his general transparency throughout the interview.

Writing on YouTube, one person said: “‘I can’t say anything negative about this club administration’”. That should tell you that there are a lot of things going on at the administrative level. I will still support ETH any day”
Another wrote: “This guy’s a stand-up guy. He deserves better.”
A third said: “This interview gives you a full picture of why he has to be backed. Man is seriously honest and explained his problems well with respect to the former management. Also explained why he has stuck to his principles which shows he has a plan.”

A fourth said: “When Neville asked EtH to compare the setups in Bayern and Ajax with United, he struggled to do so and then clearly said that he could not say anything negative about the United setup.
“He is a pro with strong opinions but is clearly holding his council viz-a-viz this question. You can say a lot by not saying anything. A shocking indictment of the setup he is working with.”
