According to German journalist Christian Falk, Ten Hag has a 'dream job' he would like to step into if he leaves United.
Speaking to Sport Bild, Falk claimed that Ten Hag "dreams of returning" to Bayern Munich as head coach.

The Dutchman was the head coach of Bayern Munich II between 2013 and 2015, and he led the side to the Regionalliga Bayern (regional fourth tier) title in 2013-14.
Ten Hag left the German club in 2015 to take the top job at Eredivisie side Utrecht, before he moved to Ajax in 2017 and then United in 2022.
Bayern are currently searching for a new manager after confirming that Thomas Tuchel will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season.
According to Falk, Bayern bosses are not currently considering Ten Hag as a replacement.
