David de Gea is trending on social media after out-of-form Manchester United suffered their fifth defeat in seven games.
Erik ten Hag's side suffered at the hands of Super Lig outfit Galatasaray, who came from behind on two separate occasions to secure a first win on English soil in their entire 117-year history.
United, meanwhile, fell apart in the final 20 minutes, as mistakes from a host of players, including Andre Onana, Raphael Varane, Sofyan Amrabat and Casemiro contributed to a miserable Tuesday night at Old Trafford.

Casemiro conceded a 77th minute penalty after fouling Dries Mertens inside the penalty area, and was handed a second yellow card following a misplaced pass from Onana.
United's new goalkeeper would then watch Mauro Icardi fire wide from 12 yards but three minutes later, the Cameroon international failed to stop the Argentine, with some questioning his positioning for the goal.
As a result of Onana's performance against Galatasaray, former United goalkeeper David de Gea began to trend on social media.

One fan wrote: "David de Gea deserves a statue outside Old Trafford for the way he kept Manchester United in the game over and over again," while another said: "David De Gea... I apologise on behalf of all Manchester United fans. Please forgive us."
A third commented: "If Ten Hag claims he's ruthless and can axe club legends like Ronaldo and De Gea then he should have the guts to bench Onana in our upcoming matches. We’ve seen enough already."
A fourth added: "Getting rid of De Gea and Henderson and bringing in Onana and Bayindir might be the biggest downgrade in the history of Manchester United."
After failing to agree terms on a new contract, the 32-year-old Spanish goalkeeper left Manchester United in July following a 12-year spell at the club.

De Gea said he wanted to undertake a new challenge and "push myself again in new surroundings" but he remains a free agent.
After lifting the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League during his stay, De Gea penned an emotional farewell message to United fans on his social media channels.
"I would like to express my unwavering gratitude and appreciation for the love from the last 12 years," he wrote.
"We’ve achieved a lot since my dear Sir Alex Ferguson brought me to this club. I took incredible pride everytime I pulled on this shirt, to lead the team, to represent this institution, the biggest club in the world was an honour only bestows upon a few lucky footballers."
Thoughts on Onana's performance? Should David de Gea still be Manchester United's number one?
